My Acupuncture Journey started when I was 26 yrs old. At that time my daughter, Tarrah was two years old. I soon learned that I was pregnant again, but was diagnosed with a very rare Molar pregnancy. My life was turned upside down when I learned that it resulted in uterine cancer after the miscarriage. Since I knew in my heart that I wanted more children, the Western cure was not acceptable. Acupuncture became a healing lifeline that allowed me to slowly recover and become cancer free. My health improved dramatically and I was able to give birth to my wonderful 10lb , 13 oz. son, Trevor three years later. This chapter in my life made me a firm believer in the benefits of Acupuncture. So much so, that I decided to go to medical school at age 43 and get my degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MSAOM). It has been the best decision of my life and has allowed me to share my passion with hundreds of patients.
